One of the people I love more than anything in the world is my precious mom. Seriously she’s incredible and I am so thankful for her every day. Today in my xoxo Mini Album I’m sharing a two page spread all about my mom. This might be one of my favourite layouts so far.
I love the way this page worked out! I used the Quilted Hearts collection and the Take Me away collection by Pink Paislee and Paige Evans.
My absolute favourite item in that collection is gorgeous floral acetate and it definitely played the dominant role of this layout. I adore the way it worked out and created such a pretty layered effect.
On the left-hand page, I use it in some of my 2×2 squares layering it with white paper. I feel like it really lets the stunningness of this acetate sing. I did add some chipboard and other embellishments on top to take it to the next level.
After I was done, I added my journaling in the form of a little love letter to my mom. I wrote down all of the things I love about and appreciate about her.
