I’ve been working away on my xoxo Mini album, making process videos, and working hard (on my actual job) that all of a sudden it dawned on me today, I haven’t posted a video yet this week… well the wait is over. Today, I’m sharing a process video in my xoxo Mini Album- a love letter to my little sister, Courtney.
So I created this two-page spread using the Quilted Hearts Collection, Theresa and I designed for TNT – A Scrap Explosion.
I had so much fun creating this layout because the colours of the collection are bright and happy – just like my little sister. Her middle name is joy and it fits her perfectly – everywhere she goes she spreads joy and brings happiness.
On the left side, I took one of my favourite 4×4 photos of the two of us and added some really pretty, soft layers. I think my favourite part is the vellum hearts. I took one of the digital papers from the collection, printed it on vellum and cut them out. Seriously though they just make me happy layered up like that.
I have to say, though, my favourite part of this layout is the second page. I have just been addicted lately to sticking 2×2 photos on my layouts…seriously look at all this happiness. I love how these photos show my sister’s personality and joy!
And that journaling card, with this adorable quote – well it’s my favourite!!! I just love it! This whole layout is a love letter to my little sissy… and I feel like that quote is just the perfect accompaniment and speaks volumes. I just love this girl oodles and oodles and I’m so glad I could document her in this special way.
