Orlando Trip - Crafty Girl On the Go (Traveler's Notebook)

I feel like it's been forever since I posted a process video - seriously! I even did a voiceover and everything. It's just been so busy... it was going to take something super special to get me back in the mood.  So when the awesome Jody asked me if I'd like to be the January guest designer for SpigelMom Scraps I seriously couldn't help myself and I had so much fun playing with her goodies.
I decided to work on a Traveler's Notebook page for my Crafty Girl On the Go album. I grabbed some poloriod photos and had sitting on my desk and inspiration struck. I felt like it needed a bit more texture, so I added a doily into the layers.

I played around with some wood veneer from the Lil' Wood Shop. The snowflakes from the Winter Icon set created the perfect place for little clusters of embellishments. I even finished the page off with a tiny rustic heart because it made me so happy.

My favourite part of the page though is the pretty sequins that cascade down the page like snow. Hex-a-frost, Oh Christmas Tree and Sparkly Effervescence are just making my heart pitter patter.

I added tiny word strips and some journaling - and I'm pretty happy with it. If you want to check out the store, you can use the code TORI15 to get 15% off.
