My New Favourite Podcast: The First Love Club

I am so excited!!! Tracie Claiborne and The Reset Girl, Cori Spieker just launched their brand new podcast, "The First Love Club" (referred to as TFLC in the rest of this post) and it's already my favourite thing on the internet.

When I first hear that Tracie and Cori were teaming up for a faith-based podcast, I couldn't stop beaming...  Tracie and Cori are two of my favourite crafty people in the whole world - the inspire me, encourage me and motivate me daily and now I get to listen to the two of them together in the ultra adorable and insanely encouraging podcast TFLC. It was just a match made in heaven - the peanut butter and jelly of podcast hosts.

So this week the show officially launched with a little introduction, only 13 minutes and 55 seconds long - but I am already so encouraged and uplifted, I can't wait for next week and the first episode.

I thought I could share some of my takeaways from the introduction. Right in the beginning of the show, Cori shares, "I never would have imagined that I'd have an entire platform to talk about my love of God and not just my love for him but the way that God loves us back, all the ways God loves us back." Oh my goodness, I love that! What a delightfully inspiring way to look at online platforms in a unique way, I hope I can do justice to the platform God has given me to share his love too.

I am already so blown away by Cori, a self-proclaimed "introvert through and through" who shares her incredible gift and shows that she is "brave enough and big enough" to share her faith. Her boldness and trust in Lord encourage me to be bold and share my faith in a way that I've never done before.

And oh my goodness I adore how Tracie wears her heart on her sleeve! Tracies giddiness and excitement to chat about her true love is just so infectious! I am giddy with excitement to listen, to learn and to love AND I want to be apart of the first love club. And Tracie is so genuine and such a sweet friend I can't wait to listen to her more.

I think the line of the introduction that stood out to me the most was the rhetorical question Cori asked midway, "How many of us would truly say, when asked, would say that Jesus is the love of our life?" WOW! I've seriously never thought of it that way. I love the Lord and I truly desire to have a deep, personal relationship with Christ but do I say that Jesus is the love of my life? If not - why not! Am I truly tapping into the joy and peace that is available to me? Are you?

I'm just so excited and I can't wait to hear what else these two lovely ladies chat about and I can't wait to chat back with them (over the internet) as I talk outloud to my computer, as I can't help myself from doing.

I'm so thankful for Tracie and Cori who are being obedient to the call of the Lord to start this podcast and I can't wait to hear more from these two lovely ladies.

I hope that you will take a few minutes to listen to the introduction and the podcast because it truly speaks life and shows each of us that we can absolutely be more than we think we are.

And you get all that in 13 minutes and 55 seconds. Love it!

xoxo,

Tori
