It’s Christmas!!!! Okay it was Christmas a week or so ago… but it’s Christmas today in my December Daily album. Today I’m sharing December 25th and truth be told my album is almost done… and not just because I am almost out of space… but because Christmas and December are almost over.
Christmas was pretty low key this year but it was still perfect and totally worth documenting. We had breakfast in the morning and opened our stockings. Then we headed to Church for the Christmas service. I went with my parents to their Church (instead of mine) because I wanted to spend the day with them. After Church we headed home, stuck the turkey in the oven and snacked on crackers and cheese while we opened presents. Later that evening my dad went to pick up my grandma from the care facility she lives at, we had dinner and my grandma opened her presents. It was peaceful, calm and perfectly Christmas. We did manage to Skype Courtney (my sister) in Kenya and Josh (my brother) in England. Oh how I wish they were here… but if they can’t, I’m sure thankful they were with friends and the magic of Skype exists.
I kept today’s page fairly simple as I only had two photos. I documented our stunning Christmas tree (mostly because I realized I hadn’t included it yet), and a photo of my grandma opening her presents. It was so precious watching her open her presents – because of her Alzheimers it was as if I was watching a child open their presents. The joy and excitement was amazing and I’m so incredibly thankful for these moments.
In terms of supplies, all of the paper, the ‘thoughts from today’ card, the rubber star charm and the chipboard number 25 are all from Felicity Jane. The rubber ‘love’ charm is from Ali Edwards’ week in the life kit. And the ‘make it merry’ journaling card is a doodle by Brandi Kincaid for the Feed your Craft kit.
On the right hand page I added some 2×2 squares of red and white and include a bunch of stamps I’ve been collecting from letters and cards. I thought it was just a nice way to round out the 25th.
I love that there’s some special stamps from all around the world.

I hope you had a lovely Christmas!
