The 17th in my December Daily turned out really simple but super sweet.
I feel like simple is the word of the season for me. Keep it simple and sweet. I love simple though… simple is pretty… simple is done.. simple leaves time for journaling and simple lets the photo shine
So today’s spread is just an insert with one photo, a journaling card and a clear baggie. I love this clear bag with printed lace on it from Felicity Jane. So I stuck a Tab sticker from We R Memory Keepers so I could insert the bag right into the album. I topped the bag off with my chipboard number 16 and a tiny word sticker from Freckled Fawn.
On the inside of the pocket I share a photo of my epic Christmas Tree fail.
Yep… we set up our tree and the lights were burnt out. So much for putting up our tree and taking a perfect stylized photo for my December Daily. #christmastreefail.
On the back of the photo I stuck a journaling card from my FREE christmas printables. Added some journaling using a fine tip sharpie marker and BOOM, it’s done.

P.S. we did fix the tree… we ran out bought some more lights and it’s stunning. Today however, our fail is the story.
