What do you do when you want to include ephemera (like a concert program) in your December Daily?
Create a shaker pocket of course!
That’s exactly what I did for December 10th. I pulled out my fuse tool… cut up my page protector and created a custom shaker pocket, concert program insert.
I really wanted to make it so you could open the program and see what was on the inside – so I cut up the side of the 6×8 page protector, slid the program in and fused it at the top.
And with the extra 1 inch on the right hand side, I made a shaker pocket with gold, black and silver star sequins.
I love that you can read the program, see what’s on the inside and it looks pretty.
I finished up this project by creating a vellum divider page between the 9th and 10th. And added a little bit of pretty embellishments.
Okay seriously, how lovely is that gold doily vellum from Recollections (aka Michaels brand) – man I love it so much.
On the back of the vellum I added a little cluster of embellishments and a little journaling space. It’s not a ton of journalling but I love the little pop of pretty.
I did create a process video if you want to check it out. The best part, I walk you right through how I created the shaker pocket and flip section for the program.
I hope you enjoyed it! If you have any questions, I’d be happy to help.
