Today I really wanted to work on my title page – the first thing you see when you open the album. I love making title pages!
I grabbed all of my patterned papers and started going through them to find the paper I wanted to use. I knew I wanted my cover to have a piece of acetate and then a solid/semi solid patterned paper behind it. As soon as I saw the pink paper with white snowflake like details (from Felicity Jane), I knew it would be perfect. I also grabbed out a white script acetate from Michaels (aka the Recollections brand). I love the layered affect!
Next I wanted to add some simple embellishments, details, and a title (this is a title page right). I grabbed the white acrylic ‘Christmas’ from the Hello Christmas Kit from Felicity Jane and a couple of white doilies from my stash.
Then, to finish it off I used some clear acrylic snow flakes (also Felicity Jane), some white acrylic hearts (Ali Edwards), and some white enamel dots from my stash.
I love how simple, classy and elegant it looks. I’m totally loving the white on white effect too. Don’t you just love it when the vision in your head actually works!
