Dear Tosin

Dear Tosin,

We have been best friends since 7th grade. I remember when you walked into school the first day and we ended up as table mates. God blessed me with the best of friends ever.

Seriously, I have loved you like a sister for 18 years and I can’t imagine my life without you in it. We have been through so much together - seeing each other through elementary school, high school, university and now adulting.

It’s crazy to think we are on these crazy adventures... me in Kenya and you in Ohio.

You are the kind of person I can always come to and share my heart with. We pick up right where we left off and can talk for hours. You are such an encouragement to me and always challenge me to come back to the Lord.

You know me better than almost anyone and I love that whenever I’m with you I feel at home. I am so proud of you and how hard you’ve worked to become a Dr. You inspire me with your diligence and hard work.

I’m so glad that I was able to see you this weekend - brunch and mani/pedi’s was just perfect! It’s so crazy to think this is goodbye and I won’t see you for a long time... moving to Kenya is hard when you can’t take your bestie with you. Thank goodness for the Internet.

I could never do something as scary as this without knowing you’re there cheering me on. Life is better with you in it.
