A YouTuber's Highest Compliment

So here’s the crazy thing…just over a year ago  (January 9th) I posted my very first YouTube process video (you can find that very first video here). I loved watching YouTubers scrapbook and make cards but I was too afraid. I made a list of all the reasons why I shouldn’t make a video: no one will watch, no one will comment, no one will like it, I’m not good enough, I’m not unique enough, what would I talk about, I don’t even know how to do the filming, editing and uploading. Honestly, I am so good at talking myself out of things!

But it was also around the time that I made a list of things that scare me – top of the list: make a YouTube process video. Well, when I decided to start ticking things off that list and working to conquer my fears, I couldn’t ignore of the things that scared me the most. So I did it. I taped my iPhone to a box on top of my desk – literally I taped it up…it was sticky for days – and I hit the record button.

And I’ve never looked back! 204 scrapbooking process videos, project life process videos, December Daily inspiration videos, unboxing videos, giveaways later and I am blown away!

I love making videos but what I love the most is all my amazing subscribers and and friends I’ve met online. I am so incredibly thankful for everyone who has watched, subscribed, liked my videos and commented. I am daily blown away by the amazing comments you guys leave for me.

And the other day I received a YouTuber’s highest compliment, someone told me they were binge watching all my videos. I honestly don’t know why that compliment meant so much to me but it really did. The fact that anyone would sit there and watch me scrapbook for an extended period of time just blows me away. And I only binge watch shows that I really love…thank you. Really…THANK YOU. I couldn’t do this without your encouragement and support.

xoxo Tori
