I'm back with another 100 Days of Less Hustle More Jesus post. Today I'm doing a show-and-tell of day 10, 11, and 12. I ended up making these pages on my own without making a process video - but I thought I'd still pop in and share the finished projects with you.
Day 10: Known and Loved
Today I kept the page fairly simple - using leftover washi from another page's project. I topped it off with some stickers, a puffy leaf, some journaling, and some sketchy doodle marks. I love the way the washi looks layered upon each other. I was focusing on the idea that I am fully loved and known by the Lord and he is over the moon in love with me. I used lyrics from my favourite song right now for my journaling.
Day 11: Coming Home
On day 11 I decided to do a little bit of mixed media. Using my watercolours and the packaging technique I layered pink, mint and yellow. I kept going till I got the look I was going for. I added a piece of ephemera and a puffy house before adding my title and journaling. Today's page was all about being grounded firmly in the Lord and not letting anxiety take my joy away. My prayer is that the lord would help me be grounded in him.
Day 12: Connected in Him
I had so much fun playing with my water colours on day 11 I decided to pull them out again for day 12. I began this page by using black letter stickers to write out the word peace. Then I did the water colouring in stripes behind the word. To tie this into the rest of the page I did some splatters in that same red, yellow and blue. I finished it off with the date, a tiny bit of journaling and two arrow stickers. It's simple but I think it really stands out and reminds me to find my peace in him.
